MY NAME IS FEAR is a short film about one of the strongest emotions. It is planned to develop a whole animated series about emotions for preschool children. Each short episode is dedicated to a different emotion and is a one-man show, a one-person play. The emotion, represented as a sympathetic funny monster, stands in front of the camera to record a video message for its "host", to tell about him/herself, perhaps to become friends. Because, for example, for fear, it is not easy if everyone avoids him or finds him embarrassing! Meanwhile he is really helpful. You could even say that it is a superpower.

The short portraits are not purely pedagogical, but are peppered with humor. And examples typical for each emotion. The emotions are even so emotional that nothing goes as planned when the video is recorded!

We are planning the implementation in CGI, but with the combination of collage, digital cutout, 3D animation and 2D Grease Pencil we hope to create a unique look.
